All of you. I want to actually make something of this forum. I want to be able to discuss quality topics here and have good, advanced conversations. I can't say I want to rebuild it, because there was nothing ever there.

So, I need you guys to post some threads in here, those that play 10/20 and higher (I know they are out there). Whether they are stat threads, hand histories, anything, because frankly I'm tired of strictly pot odds and preflop crap.

I want to hear about: metagame issues, game theory, advanced blind steals, trends, EVERYTHING. But, I can't do it by myself. I also know that many of you guys read 2p2, I doubt you post there but I'm sure you read it and scan for content. Well, if you disagree with something or have a question, post it here! Give us a link, anything, so we can increase the traffic of this forum.

I don't know what really I'm asking for, but I know its out there and you guys have questions and thoughts or just random poker shit going on in your mind. But, whatever it is, Help. Please.

I will probabably be posting HH until your nose bleeds.

I dont see how this has anything to do with this forum or this thread so i'd prefer if you keep your crap to yourself.

I am bummed that there are not more posts in this forum. I feel like I could still learn a lot from those that play 10/20 and above (and I am still learning a lot from those that play 5/10 and below).

Will the last person to switch from Online LHE to Online NLHE (barring a rake structure change) turn off the lights?

A problem is that most limit hands aren't really worth commenting about once you get to a certain point, or unless you start playing people who make you have to think.

Hi Jeff

Hope your poker is going well.

Good on you for trying to motivate the masses...

However, it's not a good sign for traffic on this forum when my last post is still on page 1, and I have not posted in 7 or 8 months!!!

I was hoping they would create a SH LIM thread, and that you would be the mod.

Once again..keep up the good work, and I hope your pro playing is working out.
Gone golfing ..see ya in the Fall of 2006
PS. What did the snail on the turtle's back say?
Wheeeeeeeee........

Welcome Back!

Much has changed, and the reason I'm not the mod of the SHLHE thread was due to poor timing more than anything.

It will only be a matter of time before this forum is eventually phased out, but don't tell X!

How was golfing and what are your plans for the winter months?

First of all an excuse to all for not providing any content on this forum.

But I'm still here, and provided that I can still find reasonable 15/30, 10/20 or 5/10 games after this friday, then I'm still playin LHE.

I'm pro now, the idea is to play for something close to a year and evaluate my results if I suck I'll go to college and get further education. If I do good I'm taken a year more for playing cards.

If we can get this forum rolling again then I'meager to be more active.

Beaver/aka Lasse

Well Beaver, I've only asked you a MILLION times to start posting more here, as you're like the only playing 10/20 or higher these days.

I definately believe there are good higher stakes FR and SH games out there if you put in some work to find them. Having Articknight around again will hopefully increase some traffic. Even if I'm not playing LHE much anymore, I still plan on responding to every thread posted here.

I am getting closer to you since I will be moving up to 5/10 SH shortly, but I am still not in the ballpark for the ranges of the forum. I do see the point though in keeping it to about 10/20 before strategies change. There are many times I have played against higher limit players that have "slummed" down to 3/6, and it is more challenging since you have to rethink your play against a player that generally plays more LAG, actually thinks, knows basic poker concepts and plays back at you.

I also lament at what seems to be the slow death of the limit forums, but like some of the other posters, when you have seen the same topics posted over and over it gets boring. Many times, I don't know if it is worth posting hands since it has either been done before, or I already know how I misplayed the hand.

Maybe merge the shorthanded forums?

After playing live 20-40 limit in casinos( I had a backer ) I switched from Online NLHE to Online LHE and I'm finding it alot easier to beat. In the last 3 weeks I've moved from 1-2 6 max upto 4-8, and I'd be at 5-10 if I didn't withdrawl 500 for computer upgrades and new years. I've been winning %8 of my hands at full ring and %12-13% of my hands at 6-max so I don't think I'm running exceptionally good either. I'm going to stick with limit for a while. In 1 year I want to be playing 100-200 on party, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I know I'm only at 4-8 but I'm moving thru these limits quick and I like the content that I see here and I will be contributing as much as I can.
