Yep those are some of my favs. Also good is having quads against the nut boat Too bad it wasn't on crypto though, uncapped heads up betting would have won me his whole stack I am sure. I think he had about another $50 left behind.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

You HAVE to 3-bet pre!

You allowed too many players in that pot to snap-crackle-pop your arse!

Try NEVER to cold-call pre. If it's raised, and you're next to act... if it's good enough to call, 3-town! (BB would be the exception).

Take control of every hand you're playing in Limit.

3bet pre is right. but, as played, you had proper odds to chase the gutter with overs easily. besides, you did the right thing by 3betting turn. this is a classic example of how preflop does little to help or hurt you...within reason...if you do the right things post flop. here, you benefited nicely from passive preflop play.

as for cold calling, socal is right again. i have done it myself 26 times in 12k hands, and i have done it too much.

lol@Korn playing on the biggest goldmine the US offers. i hope you have RB, too. easy money. nh, sir.

Haha yes... Although I am still a ways from clearing the initial deposit bonus. Unlike Crypto, you don't earn bonus and RB at the same time, but I will take that over a rock garden any day. Plus, lately the traffic on Crypto at full ring games seems very lacking

cryptos dried up on me a couple years ago. but, at the time, they were by far the best loyalty program around on a monthly basis. i loved them. had accounts at inter, sun, pplex and cleared the monthly's at all of them repeatedly. however, frist changed all that for me right before sun offered rb...

you should have better luck than i at 2/4 over at cake, fwiw. i couldnt clear much of the bonus (about $60) because i was still splitting time after realizing how slow it would go. but, the rakeback % was what i was after anyway. once you get that going, you may make cake your home base. just do your research (i hope you already have) because i dont know how solvent the site/network is as a whole. in other words, just keep your money highly liquid for the time being, and dont put an entire level's bankroll there. just put in bits and pieces if your downswing continues...not that that should happen. we only win, right?

sorry for the hijack, epic. i'll shut up now.

I take full responsibility for the hijack Chopper check your pms.

Back to the OP. Like social said, I 3-bet here always because I want to get heads up (or 3 way even) in position with initiative. If we were in the SB with AK and the action went bet, call, cold call, cold call... Then I could see just calling and seeing a flop.

It's not that hard and fast. Cold-calling with low PPs or other drawy hands when there is a crowd in the pot is often the correct play. It's absolutely fine within reason.

Chopper's 26 times in 12K hands sounds about right.
