Unknown villain. In these games a 10 is nearly always check raising the flop. What could this guy really have? A 5 or 4 seems possible I guess, as is a flush draw. How bad would it be to call and rep a single high club if the 4-flush comes and he checks?

Cryptologic 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, A.
6 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 4, T, 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) T (2 players)
BB bets, Hero sez: wat?
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

It's tempting to just fold the flop here. Even if all he has is a lone club with two random cards he's got >50% equity. If he has a pair, same thing.

As played I consider raising the turn for the free showdown. But without a read that villian is capable of bs here I just fold.

You have no equity in the pot or any reason to call. I'd go ahead and fold before the bets get expensive.
