Cold calling with 87s and 3 outing the river just about covers it...

Seriously, though, Cold-calling that raise from the BB wasn't bad.

Your hand was too good to fold, and not good enough to raise.

And the 3 outer......Heck, you didn't even know you needed the boat to win (that makes it officially not "fishy" lol).

By the way, that was just the kind of hand I was talking aout the other day.

When we are the good side of that one, we say "wow, I needed that 8 after all" But then we don't give it much more thought. Heck we deserved the win..besides I had trips before the river...

But when you are on the other side, it sure sticks with you - even though the opponent had trips before the river, the only thing we feel is that lucky SOB.

Ain't it wierd how the bad beat lasts longer.......lol
Gone golfing ..see ya in the Fall of 2006
PS. What did the snail on the turtle's back say?
Wheeeeeeeee........

I might have the best hand and fail that a free turn card might also be nice. Got some great information via UTG+1's call/3-bet line.

Just think of the bad taste in his mouth... Although it serves him right for calling with that garbage in EP.

So what made you cold call anyways? I could see it with a few callers but with just an EP raise and EP cold call I am not liking my chances...

The button and comming in behind 3 cold-calls. I don't care if a couple premium hands are out there, I'm targeting 2 pair or better with the help of position to draw cheap and extract the most value when I hit.

I just dislike the cold call preflop. Bad example for the youngins who try to emulate our play.

No one do this unless your name begins with F and ends with D with a picture of a pimp as an avatar.

In retrospect, I think the flop raise is a bigger mistake.
