to fnord, hyper, lonnie, and trikflow, this is an easy one..

but for me its hard to change.

if im getting cold cards for too long, i slip into a mode where i start pushing people to force won pots.... the problem is, i dont reconize myself doing this immediately.

non of my draws fall, my pocket pairs dont set, when they do, someone hits a straight or a flush, and i know im beat, but i call it off.

very very very frustrating... i think after a few hours i get impatient, and its killing my bankroll..

any tips besides "dont do that" ??????

im a previous no limit player, so when i get into this mode, i do win a fair amount, when playing NL

Taking sets to showdown can't be a big leak.

This is where I've found it helps to diversify. If I start to feel even the slightest bit frustrated, I'll play NL for awhile, maybe play a SNG, play at a different PokerRoom, play at a higher/lower level (within the bankroll of course).

These things don't change the game, but they can keep your perspective sharp. Sometimes I like to move just in case I'm getting outplayed and am not good enough to realize it.

The best advice would be to do something besides poker when you start feeling like this, but we all know how unrealistic that is.

i took jeffs advice, i played a million dollar qualifier today, i was quite proud of myself, i played sorta on the lines of how doyle suggests in super system and hit 10th place, where my mid-stack was sucked out... eh i woulda won that tournament if that didnt happen

played a few 50$ NL, used my reads against ultra tight rocks to read them for AA KK AK when they play a pot, paid off nicely when my junk hands hit a straight after calling their raises

now im back to limit, hopefully i can make something happen tonight.
