yea you were probably behind on the turn anyways, but the river fold is horrible even though you saved a bet, that's 15:1 to call buddy

you don't think 1 in 15 times the villain also has AA here and stole it from you?

If AA is the only holding you put him on where you claim some of this pot, you should fold because it's more like 1 to 7.5 pot odds. However, this could be the ever popular over-played AK.
Reads really help here. Without a read just call because the pot is big and you'd rather make a small mistake.

As Fnord points out, reads can be useful here, but just from my experience playing 1/2, this is what I gather:
A typical 1/2 player doesn't play a heart draw or a set this way (an atypical 1/2 play might). The way he's playing it, I put him on KQ or another two pair involving the Q. It's also possible he has TJ or QQ.
But I also see people playing AK like this, and I've seen TT and JJ play this way too (middle pair + gutshot on the turn). While not likely, you will sometimes see AQ, AJ, or AT here.
I think you are frequently beat, but win often enough to make the call. Also, as SSH points out, if your opponents are somewhat aware, you should make marginal calls that you would normally fold just to avoid getting bluffed out of hands too much. If your opponents are not paying attention, this of course doesn't apply.

And if you don't have a read yet, I still make the call. The pot is big and your hand has some potential to win. Also, being able to see your opponent's hand here will help you get a read next tme you are in a hand with this person.

This hand was from a while back, since I dont even play 1/2 anymore. I was looking through hands late last night and saw this glaring one bet fold.
I really don't know why I posted it. Oh wait, yes I do. I was very, very drunk last night. Apologies.
