I got quadded 3 times and straight flushed (holding nut flush) my last outing... so yeah, definitely supposed to lose your stack there, especially since at this level people with baby full houses play the same... 4-6 makes the same play, as well as Q6 and so fourth
god I hate the swings of plo...

Always bet the pot.
And yes, you lose your chips here.

Why would you re-raise that hand pre-flop in a fishy small stakes game?

I very seldom re-raise with that sort of hand, but it's nice to do the odd time.
As an aside, I did turn a straight flush that ran into a slow-played royal off the flop. (I called a bet with about 25-1 pot odds even though I only had one out: I had him on the nut flush, and knew that I was getting the implied odds to hit a one-out draw. Better re-read Ciaffone's column about considering rare catastrophes when making calls like that.)
Needless to say, I lost my stack there too.
