I am not claiming that I have played them all correctly but it is slowly putting me on tilt. Every time I decide I am going to muck my AQ preflop but then i get tempted to play it and this is what happens.

so far 6 wins in 25 times i have been dealt. score so far : -48 BB

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop:Hero is UTG with Q, A. CO posts a blind of $0.5.
Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 3-bets, 1 fold, CO (poster) calls, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop16.50 SB) 8, 3, A (6 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 raises, CO folds, Button calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Turn14.25 BB) 5 (5 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP2 folds, Button folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls.

River20.25 BB) 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks.

Final Pot:20.25 BB

Of course i didnt play it right and its obvious i lost the pot. Any guesses what the winning hand was. and at what point do I lay it down ??

i would have checkraised the flop. on the turn, i would not have 3-bet after UTG+1 suddenly woke up out of nowhere. but you got the free showdown, so really you would have lost the same chips either way.

i'm guess it's not AA/AK, since that's too obvious. so how about A5s?

Nope. Winning hand was 2 pair - 5 and 8. So you got it right. I should not have 3 bet the turn.

58? Wow that another for the buddy list, you lucky boy

No really it's hard to see yur good hands them fall a lot in a row but besides the turn 3-bet I think you played it good and with callers like that you will get your money back.

Cap pre-flop getting 5:1 on your money with a VERY strong multi-way hand.

Lay off the turn without a read. As played, bet the river.

Check-raise the flop here is a necessity, most likely it will get that measly 8 out of the pot.

I agree with capping here, the possibility of you hitting your flush will pay you off immensly versus unsuspected victims.
