Hyper,
In your guide, you state that suited aces go way down in value shorthanded, and only recommend playing them in LP w limpers.
In a 6max game, I would think that the odds of your ace being the only one out there go way up. Don't know the exact math, but that's how I've been playing it. If I flop an ace, I assume I'm best until proven otherwise, even with no kicker.
So I will limp a low suited ace in UTG/UTG+1. If someone bumps it behind me, I call with good odds to flop that FD.
In LP, I will often open-raise any suited ace to put the button/blinds to the test. Again, I assume my ace is best pre-flop until proven otherwise. This also gets me fold equity on the flop. I will even raise into EP limpers to buy the button and gain fold equity.
Having said all that, I am not highly experienced or highly successful at 6max limit yet. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Need all the help I can get!!

Open limping, plain and simple, is bad. Thats in Hyper's guide.

Yup, open-limping sucks.
I used to open-limp any A crap kicker (soooted or not) and then go along for the ride. Now I relish the players that do that since I outkick them and they can't fold top pair.

Calling, 3 betting range of players are too often any ace in lp. This is specifically one of my problems with HJ and CO play in 6max. Players open with a predicatble Ax here even UTG and UTG+1 which while defendable as +ev leaves large edges for awar players to take advantage of imo. At a predicatble table id rather open or 3 bet with T9s than Ax. Thats me.

You underestimate how much value that Ace really is. When HU, you don't win as big of pots with T9s as you are multiway but you're cards are more likely live.
