Played some 1/2 6 max hands last night to polish off the latest Empire bonus. I read your guide about a week ago.
6 max is a blast. It's a real adrenaline rush with the constant action. I don't think I could handle more than 2 tabling for now.
It took me a little while to figure out the right level of aggression. I was over agg at first and my stack was swinging all over the place. I picked up some reads on the players and tightened up a tad and things settled down.
This game is swingier than I thought - I started with $50 on one table, got down to $16, spiked up to $85, down to $50 again, then up to $90.
The things I like about 6 max so far:
1. You can pickup good reads on your opps FAST. Everyone is playing more hands, and there are only a few players to keep tabs on. There are no 8% rocks that haven't shown down in an hour here.
2. The hands are fast, and the pots are generally pretty big. I scaled down my aggression somewhat once I realized this wasn't a game of picking up a lot of small pots, like I thought it would be. These opps will pay off your big hands - they never believe that you actually "have it" because the table is short.
3. This is the optimum way to clear a bonus. I've seen it said here before, and I concur.
4. ACTION ACTION ACTION!!!!

1/2 6max is easily the best place to be clearing bonuses.
