I've found this to be extremely profitable lately. Playing more and more.

Any of u play this? anything worth reading or looking at on this subject? (already seen all stoxpoker vids on HU, hell, all stoxpoker vids on LHE...)

How big an edge over villain do u need to play below 2/4 (rake issues)? What if u have rakeback?

Random thoughts ...

* Well yes, compared to 6max it's more profitable BB/100-wise (up to 4 BB/100), but then again you can't really multitable when playing 80%+ of your hands so it's close $/h-wise.

* The fact that you say "extremely profitable" only suggests that you're still riding the positive side of the (huge) variance. Just wait till you start missing flops or getting like 3rd pair over and over and over again.

* It is good idea to buy a couple of spare mouses and possibly a keyboard

* BUMHUNTING is the name of the game

* HIT-N-RUNNERS - you'll see more of these pathetic creatures than ever in your life. Occasionally I was wondering if there's some secret club or maybe even a 'school' after being hnr'ed NNth time in a day. There are two major types: 1) get 5bb and run; 2) get 10bb and run. Make sure you always update the notes. Once known hnr'er was sitting at the table and I immediately joined knowing that he sucks - he fastplayed his bluff but I already knew who he is and won the first pot - also I knew he's stuck now and will try to get it back - took him >50bb before he left

* 2/4 is the lowest you should go (RB is a must). To beat 1/2 it takes someone of Paradis/Grudzien/Palansky caliber. 3/6 is doable, just keep an eye on regs.

* Some regs say it has sick swings, others the opposite, even that you need lower BR than for 6max. Not sure what to think.

* Nonetheless it's fun to play and nice refreshment after usual boring 6max grind.

Have fun.

great thoughts, sheetah. "6max grind" made me chuckle, tho. it wasnt long ago we called FR "the grind." i cant imagine playing FR full time anymore. i play it sparingly, and to abuse the nits by using my 6max game on them in later positions. i think the nits actually ENJOY folding.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!
