An hour ago I walked in the door a bid sad since even though I'm profitting on online pokerplay I don't think my mades give me credit for beeing a solid player. Just played a couple of 5player SNG's NL with em.
I can't beat these maniacs..... They'll go all in with everything I mean 64 of spades is not a problem preflop for these guys. its nothing but insane.
Anyways Little did I know that my party had just begun....
Didn't bother to wake up my girlfriend who is sleeping on the couch and I wasn't ready to sleep either. So what to do, well obviously I needed to get back on track and gain some confidence in my poker so off I went to my PARADISE. Heres the stats from tonights session:
Games played: 103
Games won: 12%
Won@SD 80% (I made nuts or near nuts every time)
floops seen: 33%
Won if Floopseen: 35%
Profit: 62BB
WWWOOOOOHHHHHHUUUUUU
Along with two earlier sessions I have made 100BB in 388 games today
Yes that is 38,8BB/100hands
Good luck to all of you I'm heading for the bed now knowing that I completed my goal for the week on a MONDAY

Umm no it's not, that's 25.77. (100 / 3.88) but it's still a nice win rate for a session.

I guess I was a bit tired when i posted that yesterday.

If your won@SD is at 80%, and most of the time you had the nuts or near nuts, then how does this give you confidence in being a good player?
If anything, you were on a nice rush, because the 33% VPIP through 100 hands is very loose. I would try and see to it that these numbers dont affect the way you normally play the game.
Your friends are idiots when they play, so theres not much you can do about it but dont take it seriously; let your BR speak for you (I know it does for me ). It wont be long if you keep playing and practicing that they'll turn from not respecting you to being VERY jealous of you. Most of my friends don't even want to hear the WORD poker, and I'm glad. My family (dad) is the same way as your friends. He just doesnt understand sometimes and always wants to play HU. I dont think I could have less fun in playing.
Otherwise, nice little session there.

Hey Jeff.....
I don't consider this tiny session to verify my skill as a winning player at all. But the fact that I did start out with a cash in of only 10 bucks which I changed to a 100 playing 2$NL. After this I lost half of it on the 10$NL. Then I changed to FL and played the 0,1/0,2 tables till i hit 300BB on next level. Now I've played the 0,25/0,5 tables for 6K hands and my bankroll is 300$ and so far my win rate is about 7,5BB/100 hands.
I am aware that 6k hands is nothing really but as long as my winrate isn't negative I'll consider myself a winning player at this level.
Also this forum has been a big help for me to understand a lot of difficult decissions both pre and postflop. But I'll keep posting as long as i'm winning so if you don't see me posting anymore reslults, then its a a clear sign that my poker winnings was nothing but sheer luck.

not to burst your bubble, but pros have taken 500BB downswings over 30k hands before. your 6k hands really is nothing. it is just a blip in the grand scheme of things.
