I am fairly new to fixed limit. And I am finally setlling in on a strategy. I have played a total of 8000 hands. My stats for my last 4000 hands where much better than my first 4000 hands. Playing 1-2 I showed a profit of 192 dollars for my for my first 4000 hands. And a much better profit for my last 4000 hands where I made significant changes in the way I was approaching the game. I showed a profit of 358 dollars (Much more aggressive than in my first 4000 hands). My question is what is a reasonable amount of hands played before I settle in on a strategy? Before I can say this is working not just a hot streak?

 Upwards of 50k, 100k, or higher. But, if you find yourself doing good after 10k hands at 1/2, you shouldn't stick around long enough to find out. Move up.
