Strangely weak, passive $20/40 (live)

Button:
Respects my play, and wouldn’t get involved w/out something “real.” His aggression level is on the weak side. Only seen him 3-bet pre once, w/ KK.

BB:
Weak, passive, loser. Stuck 3 racks. Won’t get out of line, but aggression level is very weak.

I raise UTG KK
Button CC’s
BB calls

FLOP
Ah, Kc, 8c

BB checks, I bet, Button only calls, BB check/raises.

What’s your line here?
1) Ram-n-jam
2) Call & wait

If Button is on AQ, he won’t call my 3-bet. Middle pr., won’t call either. I think I want him hanging around. If he’s on flush draw, he’s not going anywhere, which may make me want to wait till the Turn to evaluate.

BB has very strong hand. Could have AA (he wouldn’t re-raise BB pre), AK, Ax clubs, set 8’s.

I like just calling the flop since Btn is probably drawing very thin or dead vs. your hand, and it's nice to have him around to pad the pot.

After that is when it gets more interesting I think. When others have had a chance to reply, please post the next decision point on the turn.

I play it full steam ahead. You miss too many potential bets by slow-playing this against two players. (For instance, 3-betting allows you to collect multiple bets both on the flop and turn if the big blind has two pair and the button a flush draw, or some similar match up. If that isn't the case, oh well, you're still getting called down by the big blind.)

There's more hands that Btn has that are drawing virtually dead against you that will call one more bet getting 11:1 but fold to a 3bet vs. hands that have a FD that will call a 3bet.

That being the case, you are better off letting him stick around with his weak hands and taking the opportunity to charge his draws 2 BB on the turn (assuming BB bets out again and the third club hasn't come).
