Thanks a lot Fnord. I will keep all these pointers in mind and especially what kind of hands he check raises with on big streets.
Here is an interesting play by him.
was villain's raise on the turn a good raise ?? given he only has flush draw. the king alone should not be any good
Kill Pot $8-16$
Hero is 10-10 UTG+1
Villain is button
Preflop: UTG calls, Hero raises, MP1 3 bets, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Villain caps, SB calls, BB calls, UTg calls, Hero calls., MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls
Flop (32 sb approx): Q-Q-J rainbow
MP1 bets, EVERYONE CALLS.
Turn: Q-Q-J-7 2 diamonds
MP1 bets, Villain raises, SB calls, MP1 calls everyone else folds
River: Q-Q-J-7-J
MP1 checks, Villain checks, Sb checks.
MP1 shows AK
Villain shows K-8 diamonds for missed flush
SB shows A-Js

My biggest problem with guys like this is that I'll spank them with middle pair, then they'll cut off my action. I tend to draw comments like "watch out for this guy" even when I'm running bad. Yet another reason I don't like live poker Sad "
Mine is the opposite. when i raise my PP i will get some action and maybe by the river my PP will hold up, maybe not.
but whenever i raise big suited broadways and board is raggeddy but gives me 4 flush...i never checkraise....(3 bet maybe if its raised)....i bet the whole way and get 4-5 callers all along the way.
Because of my tight image they always think that i am betting my AA, KK (hence overvaluing my overpair). and then i show them my flush.. . If i raise and board shows any K or A it kills my action but raggeddy board, i get calls all day long....
