This does not happen very often but still i wounder how the best way is to make most of it.
Say for example i sit in 1/2 limit in the sb or bb and i get A6s
not very good cards but since there are four other players i go with it
now flop comes rainbow 66J
how do i do
usually i check and hope somebody bets (this since often when i bet out in early position whit this kind of flop all folds at ub)
say nobody bets ant turn comes K
shold i bet out or hope that someone chatched his card and wait for checkrais?
why i ask is that i now couple of times have checked and than nobody has maid a bet and i feel kind of frustrade not to cash in on these hands

Bet the flop and hope you're raised. Depending on the raiser + board, I'll either 3-bet or check/raise the turn. On a two suited board, I'm more inclined to 3-bet.
Remember, our opponents call too much. Give all the guys drawing near-dead a chance to peel one off. If they fear your bets that much, then shift up gears and run over them.
I also bet out from the blinds with strong draws or any other time I want to build a pot.

thanks Fnord i´ll think i´ll run it that way in the futur.
Well they are not that affraid of me it is just i kind of play quit tight and than when i after along folding sessin bet out people tend to throw away that said this is the way on UB on party i allways bet since there no matter what fearfull flop comes there is allways some people sticking to it.
(this has maid me to switch mor play to PP)
thanks again

The more often they're folding, the more inclined I am to fire away in positions like missed over-cards.
One thing to keep track of is when they fold and with what.
Fold the flop without a piece?
Peel off one on the flop, then fold the turn?
Take it to the river then fold?
Call all the way no matter what?
These kinds of things help when deciding when/if to hit the breaks on a hand with little showdown value.

I agree with what Fnord said for the most part. The pot you describes wasn't rasied, right? A good rule of thumb is that people usually limp with hands that are J/Q high. I would almost always lead into a flop of that texture because I'm confident I will be raised or called. Even if the board is double suited I probably wouldn't 3-bet the flop even with action from two other players. My reasoning is, if someone is drawing at me they're going to either make their hand or miss it, my three-bet isn't going to affect their play at all. Secondly, I definately want to check/raise the turn. I want an extra big bet from people who are drawing, not an extra small bet.
Let me create a hypothetical hand for you an explain my reasoning.
You are in the BB w/ A6. Someone in late position and the button call. The same flops come down. You bet the late limper call and the button raises. You call. The turn is a blank. You check, the late limper checks the button bets. You raise.
If the late limper calls, he is probably on a draw. If the LL fold but the button calls, then he has either a draw or a J.
I hope this helps you play hands like this more profitably and creatively in the future.
