PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, K.
Hero raises, 5 folds, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero caps, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 2, 7, 3 (3 players)
SB bets, BB raises, Hero calls, SB 3-bets, BB caps, Hero folds, SB calls.

Turn: (11 BB) 6 (2 players)
SB bets, BB calls.

River: (13 BB) 9 (2 players)
SB bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Kc Ad (high card, ace).
BB has Jc Ac (high card, ace).
Outcome: SB wins 15 BB.

I also think I played this wrong.

Fold on the flop first time around. They took one from you, good for them.

In the long run playing AK like AA/KK/QQ will cost them money.

SB has been playing crazy for the time I was there, and it was driving me mad.

Lesson learned.

i had a similar hand today. i had AQ and it got capped preflop with 3 others. i called down with all of them until the river, which i folded to the double paired board.

i figured i was up against at least AK. funny part is i was right. and i was like YES great read! then i realized that he won with ace kicker. NO!

now i'm wondering if even getting 11:1 to call the river, with 3 others in the pot whether i would win in the long run...

Bad fold! On a double paired board the King doesn't play and many pocket pairs got counterfited.
