Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises, MP3 folds, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 4 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, UTG+1 calls.

River: (9 BB) 2 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 11 BB


Results in white below:
UTG+1 has 5d 9h (two pair, fives and twos).
MP1 has Jd Js (two pair, jacks and twos).
Outcome: MP1 wins 11 BB.

you must raise this preflop. i would bet the flop, and just call however many bets back to me. if the turn isn't a spade, i would check raise it. if the river brings the 4thspade, you bet it and if you are raised, you fold.

Reraise pre-flop, bet out on the flop, call 1 bet flop raise, and call down with no more spades or major aggression.

3 bet preflop

3 bet on the flop, if he didn't cap then he PROB does not have the flush

they would have checked to you on 4th, and you'd know youre ahead.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
