you must raise this preflop. i would bet the flop, and just call however many bets back to me. if the turn isn't a spade, i would check raise it. if the river brings the 4thspade, you bet it and if you are raised, you fold.

Reraise pre-flop, bet out on the flop, call 1 bet flop raise, and call down with no more spades or major aggression.

3 bet on the flop, if he didn't cap then he PROB does not have the flush
they would have checked to you on 4th, and you'd know youre ahead.
