All on 1/2 and Various sites as I have been bonus whoring (UB, Party, Poker Room and Absolute)
Hands: 4764
VP$IP: 15.22
VP$IP SB: 22.95
Won $ @ SD: 60.33
PFR: 6.92
Agg Factor: 2.29/2.58/2.38 2.40
Folded to river bet: 49.19
BB/100: 4.11
Checking out my position stats, I am only in the red for the blinds. Is this unavoidabale? Is there any way to get in the black on these?
I know this is only on 4700 hands, so the sample size is pretty small. I know some of you don't like to comment on such a small sample. The numbers have been pretty consistent for the last 2.5k hands. Except for PFR, VP$IP and Agg Factor have been slowly climbing as I get more aggressive (thanks to FTR).
I am thinking about jumping to 2/4 as my bankroll is approaching about $1400. I have dabbed a little bit into the 2/4 game and it doesn't seem that much different than 1/2. If I jump to 2/4 is it reasonable to expect the same BB/100 I am getting at the 1/2 table?
ANY comments on the above would be greatly appreciated. I will not rule out begging for comments. Feel free to post stats as I would love to compare.

With those stats you're wasting your time playing any game smaller than Party or Pacific 2/4.

Went to SD%: 35.08
Sounds like I am doing ok then? I'd like to get my PFR up to 8 or 9 and my VP$IP to ~17 and see how that goes.
I should note that I don't think I have had a huge swing into negative variance land yet. A couple of small swings of -20 to -30 bb and one larger swing of -45bb over 3 days. But I have seen some larger swings from postings on FTR here. (see jeff's post: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ight=varianced )
Most of the swings were due to Big hands not holding up or fishes hitting their straights coldcalling pf with 6-4o

The goal is to get to 5/10, right now it's just a matter of BR. I noticed in your stats Fnord that you are pulling in around 3/BB at 2/4. Is that what I should expect?
Thanks for the comments. Keep 'em coming...

wow wtsd 35 with win 60, those are some hot stats!
move your ass up! besides higher $ / hr your win rate will go up too because the rake is a lot less at 2/4. (1/2 has the highest proportion of rake)

Like I mentioned, I am not sure I have had a huge swing into - Var just yet. Not to mention I have been killing at the Absolute 1/2 game, near 6bb/100 over ~1500 hands. It has been the softest 1/2 game of the 4 sites I have played at so far. By a wide margin...
I am immediately moving up to 2/4.

$1400 bankroll and you're putzing around at $1/$2? how many BB are you trying to accumulate? 350BB is more than enough.
dude you are going to LOVE $2/$4 at party.

BR is sufficient now to move up, I just wanted to make sure I had a solid footing so I don't start getting killed as I move up limits.

Tripps, I went through the same decision-making process several weeks ago. I was messing around on .5/1 and 1/2 figuring stuff out, and planned to wait for 20k hands before moving up. However, I shortcutted the move to 2/4, and after some adjustments, I'm starting to have really good sessions there. There are so many calling stations there it's unbelievable...so even with some small leaks (see threads on EP play) that I'm working on, I'm doing pretty well.
If I wasn't so busy with night school and a FT day job, I'd be playing there way more. Damn work/school!
