I usually fold.
You don't have the equity to call, and with offsuit holdings, you don't have the implied odds either.
I call here with 56o, and I would call with 36s.
I raise with JTs or better.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

yea, a hand like JTs or QJs definitely gets a raise, it's a golden tip from SSH.

unsuited two gappers are garbage, fold.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

The only reason I *might* call is to preserve a gambing image at a live table (if you still have it, if you're already pegged just muck.) If you're the only guy at the table absent from otherwise family pots the other players will notice. Consider if it's worth paying a fraction of small bet in value to play along so you get the stupid calls later.

Sure as hell is cheaper than the stupid advertising plays I see thinking players make regularly...

true, I do this in live games too, which is even easier in NL games because the blinds are so small compared to the bets in the game.... less expensive
