what was the river on hand 1? I'm interested to see how that one turned out since the flush was already on the board and you didn't have much of a hand after the turn.

Consider taking your free card on the turn in hand 3, although with 2 other players it's close. Particulary if the field is larger than just 2 others or if there is a tricky/aggro player in the hand. I don't think you're ahead here very often.

Everything else is standard.

No river on hand 1, I semi-bluffed him out! (well, he probably never should have called the PFR in other words.

I bet the turn in hand 3 because I had no respect for the guy playing - I agree, it was marginal at best. I guess there are two things that guy could have (post facto)

1) suited spades
2) 10-9
3) Pair of 2s/5s
4) 9-8

I think we can rule out Qs or Js - he would have called on the river, likewise 10-9, because he'd probably call with 10s. No way he had 98 since he would have made his straight. Also, if he had Qs/Js he probably would have bet the flop open, unless he's slowplaying me (which would have worked really well!)

Most likely spades - so he had 9 outs, and I had 10-3 spades 7

However, I am probably ahead on a blank, unless he had 2 or 5s or pairs the river.

Marginal bet to be sure, but sufficed.
