i dont see a lot of HORSE stuff. and maybe this should go in SNG, but i played in my first tourney tonight. finished 2 out of 16. not bad for popping the cherry.
heres the synopsis, as i just had to tell somebody. the 2nd to last hand bit the big donkadonk...
i finished 2nd. had chip lead forever and got ganked on the 2nd to last hand.
i was leader and the two others (3 left) came into a stud hi pot. i had [Q 3] Q
the others had a K and an A showing. i figure, "they arent going anywhere now. and i have paired my Q. its go time. they will fold if they didnt hit on 4th." but, because i am low showing, i have to "bring in." i dont bring in for the min (T400)...i raise right off the bat (t1500 or t3000, i cant remember) figuring to be good.
i get a raiser from the A and a caller from the K. i think "ok, liar, the odds of this are terrible. i RR" we all go in right then and there. and i still am in disbelief to see..
we've all paired our door cards. wtf? stars is rigged (lol). what are the odds that down to final three in tourney and we all pair our door cards with a Q, K, and A?
final hand was completely irrelevant because the guy who tripled up had over 22k in chips and i had 1200 left. the BB put me in.
still did WAY better than i expected to. yeah, me!! {self hi-5}

The chance of all of you with PP is pretty slim, however your chances with QQ vs A and K showing is not that great either

BTW it reminds me of the wierdest 7 stud hi I ever saw, it was the final hand of a home tournament we run, about 20 people or so, 3 remain, one started with 3 suited cards to the A, other one with rolled up 7's and the 4th with rolled up 9's, on 5th the rolled up 7's hit his quads and on the next card dealt the rolled up 9's hits his quad and won the tournament
