PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Demi is MP with A , K .
1 fold, Demi raises, 1 fold, Button (dsaxton) 3-bets, 2 folds, Demi calls.
Flop: (7.50 SB) T , T , 2 (2 players)
Demi checks, dsaxton bets, Demi calls.
Turn: (4.75 BB) A (2 players)
Demi checks, dsaxton bets, Demi raises
Dunno what I think of this.
In retrospect, I may just donk the river

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

NOTE: This may not belong in the small stakes limit section. My standard line for 2/4 shorthanded is cap preflop, bet the flop, checkraise the turn.

If he has a T, youre getting threebet, if doesnt have a T, and he doesnt have an A, youre getting a fold. You want either one? Typical WA/WB line, correct to say to donk the river.

his play looks like a PP. You might even get a c/r off on the river.

No expert here but i would just call his bet on the turn. My thinking is similar to an above poster they will probaly fold if you have them beat and 3 bet if they do have that 10. Either way you have more then likely killed any chance of making more money by raising the turn. On the other hand by calling down you atleast give him the chance to bluff off more chips with a weaker hand . Now if i had nothing i might would be tempted to bluff the pot but since you have something Whynot get to the river cheap?

I cant think of any reasonable holding he would three bet you with that has a T in it (unless you guys have been screwing around) and you are obviously good here. If he had an overpair (or i had one) I would have checked the turn here so I think you're checkraise is risky but that is pretty much what you set yourself up for. By not capping the preflop you throw the entire postflop play into whack!!!! If he had a more marginal holding like AJ or AQ you may have been able to get the bet/3bet off on the turn. I think you missed anywhere from 1/2 BB to 1.5 BB assuming he has an ace and will call down.

mm.. didnt notice the preflop 3bet. Kind of tables his hand into a PPair or KQ+. Not likely to be a T unless he quadded on ya. Jeff play goot. Euph play bad.

I'd raise the turn. Looks more like an ace too me (as has been said, it's unlikely he will 3bet PF with a hand with a ten in it).

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
