Is it just me or is it harder to win on the high speed tables on stars? Out of 30 or so times I've played on the high speed tables I've only come out ahead once or twice. Normal tables I'm ahead probably 80% of the time. 3/6 and above are pretty much only high speed, so I'm kind of worried. This just doesn't make sense to me as the high speed tables always have bigger average pots and higher number of players to the flop. Maybe better players play the high speed tables making it harder to win? Or am I just crazy and bad at poker?

The only way I can see it possibly being -EV is if you're not having enough to act.

Time is rarely a factor. The high speed tables don't actually go much faster. Just stops people taking forever to post or people that wait 20 seconds every decision.

Maybe I'll give them another shot. But if I lose another 100 BB I'm blaming it on the high speed tables (joking )

While I love the high speed tables. The only thing I don't like is the absolutely simple reads it helps give you. My favorite is the wait all 60 seconds before re-raising you because I have the nuts and I'm hoping you'll re-raise me tell.

Other than that, I don't the that high speed tables are -ev at all. High speed tables are for junkies that like to act quickly, they like to be in hands, so the faster the table the more hands they play. Being weak passive suits playing more hands, so you're against a bunch of weak/passive action junkies. sign me the fuck up.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?
