Gatlin Dan
Please critique my play on this hand.converter

Preflop: Gatlin Dan is MP2 with J, J.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, Gatlin Dan 3-bets, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (16 SB) J, Q, T (5 players)
SB bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, Gatlin Dan 3-bets, SB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.
I'm thinking with the pre-flop action I am beat by someone with AK.

Turn: (14.50 BB) T (5 players)
SB bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, MP1 calls, Gatlin Dan calls, SB calls, UTG calls.
Now I'm thinking maybe with the action preflop that there is QQ out there so I only call.

River: (24.50 BB) 9 (5 players)
color=red]SB bets[/color], UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, MP1 3-bets, Gatlin Dan calls, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.
By now I'm pretty sure I am up against QQ but the pot is too big for me to fold.

Final Pot: 34.50 BBResults in white below:
UTG+1 has Qs Th (full house, tens full of queens).
MP1 has Ks Kd (straight, king high).
Gatlin Dan has Jd Js (full house, jacks full of tens).
SB has 7d 8d (straight, queen high).
Outcome: Gatlin Dan wins 34.50 BB.

any reckless bets or missed raises in here?

I think that you are too scared on this hand, QQ is a possibility, but there are SO man other hands that these people can have. A straight, a set of 10s, top 2 pair etc.

I would definitely be capping this on all streets, as I would firmly believe that I have the best hand.

someone with QQ would have capped preflop and the flop. you have the 3rd nuts on the turn. i think you're just up against straights here. definitely cap the turn and river.

I don't cap with QQ; I just three bet it. I should be? If I cap AK, I should also be capping QQ.

Wouldn't it be the 4th nut on the turn? 4Q, 4T, Q's full and then J's full?

So this pot should have been more like 45BB's instead of 34?

3rd nuts, 4th nuts, close enough! :P

i still think you're way ahead in this situation.

i think there's a good chance if MP1 has AK here...he raised preflop. flops the nut straight, raises to try and protect his hand (even though i think he should wait for the turn to raise). slows down on the turn, too bad it wasn't a safe card. then he goes crazy on the river on the non flush card.

I cap every street post-flop. If he has QQ/TT then good for him.
