hand 1: looks g00t

hand 2: looks g00t

hand 3: looks g00t

hand 4: overcards out of position is ugly. nothing really bad can be said, although you may want to check fold the turn sometimes.

hand 5: raise preflop. bet the river, fold to a raise.

I completely agree, except I would've folded the flop on hand 4.

Without a read? I see no compelling reason to think he doesn't have the best hand on every street.

This is why I hate people posting results.

I completely agree, except I would've folded the flop on hand 4 and 5. No real draws, just hoping an Ace hits because people don't usually fold a pair of kings. It may be a bit passive on my part, but even when they call you it usually says king. I don't like to play past the flop if I don't hit anything except in NL, or if I have any kind of draw.

This ain't NL.

In the last hand the flop bet into an unraised pot out of position with just overs + backdoor flush into a likely call-happy field is really bad. Unraised it's a check/fold. If you raised pre-flop it's close between a bet/call and check/call depending on the game texture. I've been mixing in check/calls in spots like this because it gives me more credibility when I make that bet with position and I really wouldn't mind a free card if most of the field is going to call anyway.

I played hand 5 like a donkey. I raise this 75% of the time.

Not sure I could ever agree with this fold on the flop. The CO only called with position, and didn't raise. My read gave me no reason to assume he had a premium holding. And you'd be amazed what people call down with here...
