Hand 1: I might check/raise the flop and proceed. I don't want to drive the third guy out of the hand. As played, you're far better off 3-betting the flop and leading the turn.
Hand 2: Bet the flop, you're getting action on this flop and c/ring the flop will slow them down faster.
