Flopped full house and figured people had the ace's and just prayed they didnt suck out with drawing a ace boat. and they did

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: AidanN20 is MP2 with 9, 9. UTG posts a blind of $2.
UTG (poster) checks, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, AidanN20 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) A, 9, A (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 folds, AidanN20 calls, CO folds, SB raises, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, AidanN20 3-bets, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 8 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 bets, AidanN20 raises, SB calls, UTG+1 3-bets, AidanN20 caps, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (20 BB) K (3 players)

Guy had A8, other guy had flush.

Should I have let this go earlier?

there's no way to know you are beaten by A8. i would have capped the river assuming i was only up against a flush. since there was no raising pre-flop you cannot possibly put anyone on AK.

No way. I might just call the 3 bet on the turn and call the river.

There's only 2 hands that beat you on the flop AA (unlikely) or A9. I don't have a problem with how you played it. He just got lucky with that 8...

I bloat this up as big as possible and then shake my head when he pairs his kicker. I give him credit for trip A's and if he pairs the kicker, good for him.
