straight up "stat read" here (i hate these), as i shouldnt have been playing this brain dead. villain was 60/6/.2 over a small sample. is this too passive a line?
i saw 3way, a c/r on flop as being too early. i felt i was only behind AA, but i wanted to really expose their bluffing ranges. i KNEW the turn 2 didnt help him, and thought he'd fire the river just like the previous streets. the only thing someone this passive does this with, that beats me, is AA or QQ. i planned to c/r the river, and whiffed. comments?

do me a favor, poker world. dont play when the LAGtards are slamming everything to a capped pot pf and catching boats with 23s. and, when your super great "read-based" calls are into split pots when some chump holds the exact same cards as you do (that happened at least 4 times in big pots).
and, most importantly, dont continue to play when you cant bring yourself to focus on exposing these fools. i should have been drunk tonight. at least it would have been fun...lol.
(didnt lose much really. just havent had a session backfire this bad in a looooong while.) sorry for the bitch/wine.

I feel your pain from teh second post Chop....had that session last week, it gets old quick but luckily doesn't last long
In regards to your hand, I don't even see a 60/6/0.2 3-betting with anything but AA. I can see them raising with QQ but never 3/4-betting with it. You may RARELY see AKs at showdown here(like 10%), but that would be the extent of it.
I think I'd be c/c the river if he bets it, but wouldn't c/r unless the river was a diamond.

i would c/r flop, lead turn and river.
He's very passive, so he will bluff less. You should value bet more against him and induce less bluffs.
Him being passive, the flop c/r will give you all the info u need for the hand. If he 3bets the flop, u cap and decide on turn whether to call down or lead again. If he just calls, I'd lead the turn and river all the time.
PS: even with those stats, they will 3bet AK, AQs, JJ, TT... from time to time. This being 6max and low limit.
There are different kinds of passives out there.
PF 2 different ones are the wimps afraid to put more money in before seeing the flop, and the ones that wont raise much PF cause "not worth it with mediocre hands, and don't wanna lose customers with premiums"
The first are just afraid, the second ones try to get tricky and trap PF.
The tricky type will surprise u from time to time 3betting or waking up, but it wont necessarily be AA...
Knowing which kind they are is important.
Still, against anyone with those stats, without any other reads, I just valuebet them to death.
