B&M 4-8

by the turn I knew that MP1 probably had nothing..some big card..with the way he was acting. I was worried about BB. Button could have anything. i still bet the turn to see if someone really had the ace...usually people fold for the big bet on a kill pot if they got nothing..unless on a flush draw or straight draw.

Hand 1: Kill Pot (8-16)
Hero is J-J in SB

Preflop: MP1 calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, MP1 calls, Button 3 bets, Hero caps, BB calls, MP1 calls, Button calls.

Flop: A-10-6 2 suited board
Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls, Button calls

Turn: A-10-6-4
Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls, Button calls

River: A-10-6-4-J BINGO!!
Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls

BB shows A-8o

BB: Thats freakin unbelievable. Man you got really lucky there..what the heck you were betting with ?
Hero: I had a feeling i was going to hit the jack...LOL

Who had the kill button?
How often do you get 3 callers where none can beat top pair?
What do you do when raised on the turn?
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

button had kill button.
Funny thing is its BB's fault. I never win the pot if BB raises me on the flop. Because then I check fold the turn when the Jack doesnt hit. Since he just kept calling, I had to bet the turn to see if someone really had the ace.

True though that usually when I get 3 callers I usually check fold the turn with KK, QQ, JJ if an A is on the board.
