Welcome to the forums.
BTW I hate your preflop call and your flop check/raise isn't exactly something I would recommend either. Also, what exactly does your donk bet on the turn accomplish?
I like to pull way ahead/way behind lines here; which would either be calling the turn and donking the river or just check/calling all the way hoping your hand is good. I will check/raise the turn here if I know he will call my raise when he is behind as in he's on a draw or whatnot.
(Also, having 3 tags on my right and a 68/0 on my left isnt exactly the best position fyi)

lol... yeah, it was a terrible hand... and I knew it.... There is no excuse!
I appriciate the critique... but after my impulsive stupidity was over, I already knew it and hated everything about the hand as well.
Unfortunetly, I often do this at the begining of a session. For some reason I'm kind of prone to making a stupid move/play or two early... then after being shamed and embaressed, I usually straighten up (or pull it off and I still straighten up). I don't really know why I do it except maybe that I'm axious to play when I first sit down.
I was able to recover for about +5BB over three hours (not that I'm bragging about ~1.5BB/100h at all, especailly when it should have been a lot more if didn't so kindly donate a few bucks to you )
Stupid, I know.... Costing me a lot, I know... Something I have to fix, I know!!!
But I'm trying to fix that... and a lot more! That's why I'm here!!
As far, as table/seat selection.... I'm really trying to make an effort to select decent tables... but set selection I know I still need to try to pay more attention to.
Mind if I ask what you look for when trying to find a table. I was looking for VIP >40% (atleast 35), with a lower PFR % and lower showdwon % (but perhaps I should look for higher showdown %). I don't know if this is the best approach. Thougts?
And yes, I was confused as hell.... I saw "CodeRed's Rules" after you left the table. But I didn't quite put it together that it was you.
But now that I know... I"m glad you left the table!! lol... (actually, I wouldn't mind sitting in and watching you a little. as long as the rest of the table was juicy! I 'd definitely learn a thing or two.... like it's stupid to defend the blinds with K8o, especially when I miss the flop.)
PS And by adding further shame and humility by posting the hand here, I'm going to be thinking about this the next time I sit down and hopefully avoid this... So, thanks for the help! lol....

n a 6 max game, players wihth a 35 VPIP are definately not 'bad' players, in fact, i tend to stay away from these as these guys give my the most problems You want guys high VPIP, low pfr or even maniacle PFR and high showdown rates. And, you want them on your right.
I think its general instinct to try and win every pot, as you did, and I think thats what many player's problem is, they think they have to win every pot and not the most money. Getting over the urge to bluff when you know your opponent has a weak holding is something that I have to do alot, because even with a marginal hand they wont fold.
