Hand 1: Important reads: UTG+2 is a calling station, plays any two if they look pretty and will call down with any draw
MP is a TAG
10/20 (10 handed) Hold'em Live, Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL
Hero has :Qd::Qh: in SB
UTG Limps, UTG+ 2 Calls MP Raises, Button Cold Calls, Hero 3-bets and everyone calls but UTG.
Flop: :Tc::Td::Ah: Pot: 12 SB 4 Players
Hero Bets, UTG+2 calls, MP Calls and Button Fold
Turn: :Ks: Pot: 7.5 BB 3 Players
Hero Checks, UTG+2 Checks, MP Bets and Hero and UTG both Call
River: :As: Pot: 10.5 BB 3 Players
Hero Checks, UTG+2 Checks, MP Bets and Hero and UTG both Fold
Correct Play?
I'm thinking it was, really the only hand I beat if MP was raising a pocket pair or other tras hand like Q9, but then he would have folded the flop. Then again, bet/folding the turn probably wouldn't be a bad thing but I have outs to my redraw, so bet/calling the turn then check/folding the river if i dont improve.
Hand 2:
Important reads:
CO and Button are both on the loose side, if i had numbers on them I would say CO is a 30% vpiper with 10% PFR and the Button is a 40/20, but not out of line. Aggression is relatively unknown, but they don't do anything out-of-line like check/raising air.
20/40 Hold'em Live (10 Players)
Hero is in SB with :Ah::Qd:
UTG Limps, folds to CO who raises, Button Cold calls and I 3 bet from the SB. BB and UTG folds and CO and Button Calls.
Sidenote: I yell 3 bet from the SB BEFORE Button calls but he said he didnt hear me, but if he had he wouldn't have called, so he said.
Flop: :Kd::Ts: Pot: 10 SB
Hero Bets, CO Calls, Button Raises and Hero and CO Both Call
Turn: :Qs: Pot: 8 BB (3 Players)
Hero Checks, CO Checks, Button Bets and Hero and CO Both Fold.
Who here calls the turn and why? I'm thinking is, given Button's actions, he's either got KQ (but not suited he would have 3 bet), QJ or other broadway combination that has me dominated.
One great thing about live play, is that the players miss so many bets when they have the best hand (and obviously too) that there is no way they can actually be a long term winner.

Hand 3:
Important Reads: MP3 is the standard weak/tight (but not too tight) and doesn't get too out of hand. He will bluff when checked too which makes me take my line.
20/40 Live at Hollywood
Hero has 8d: In MP
Preflop: Action folds to hero who open raises. MP3 cold calls and the BB comes along (I actually have a tight image, which works for me more than against me).
Flop:   3 players (7 SB)
Hero Bets, MP3 raises, BB folds, Hero Calls
Turn: 2 Players (5.5 BB)
Before I Checked to him I look at him and he stares back at me trying to look like he has a hand. Somehow, I don't believe him...
Hero Checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls
River: 2 players (7.5 BB)
Hero Bets, MP3 calls.
Hero Shows a pair of eights and wins 9.5 BB. Even the dealer was confused!
As I bet, the other "rounders" at the table, who all know each other by name (but are yet still not that great, tons of leaks), were all like "damn, he did not just river that card." Nope...
I love live

isn't live great? you play fewer hands but you get such a sharp feeling where you're at in the hand, so you can avoid bad calls or raising in the wrong spots..
