Over 25% or so of the seated players are like the villian here.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter
Preflop: Fnord is UTG with A , J .
Fnord raises, 4 folds, Button calls, 2 folds.
Flop: (5.33 SB) 6 , 9 , 8 (2 players)
Fnord bets, Button calls.
Turn: (3.66 BB) A (2 players)
Fnord checks, Button bets, Fnord calls.
River: (5.66 BB) T (2 players)
Fnord checks, Button bets, Fnord calls.
Final Pot: 7.66 BB
Results in white below:
Fnord has As Jh (one pair, aces).
Button has Qc Kc (high card, ace).
Outcome: Fnord wins 7.66 BB.

If it were me some guy would flip over 2d 3h and I'd wonder why I gave him 2 big bets. -100BB for me. :-\

Probably something like 18-25% VP$IP 5-7% PFR. Guys like that play like this.

Yeah, I find this interesting that you consider this a typical 3/6 player. I "never" seem to get these guys.
Perhaps you are very in tune with the players at a table, and leave if the tricksters/TAg's accumulate? Thus, perhaps more of these clowns are in your games, on avg?
