i wanted to know if i am missing somewhere in these two hands or if they were just plain bad luck. Btw i am making this loose call in hand 1 on purpose, normally i wouldn't do that but there were like 2 players behind

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 9, 8.
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 9, T, 7 (6 players)

Turn: (8.75 BB) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

River: (10.75 BB) 6 (2 players)

Theyre both fine, though I'd probably just call the raise on the river in the first hand. Youre either behind or youre splitting.

hand 1: i assume you're raising for the freecard in this spot because you're draining out the players who would pay you off by raising the flop. Also 3betting with a 1card straight on a paired board and a 3flush is spewy

hand 2: that's how i roll
