calling a cap on the flop with a backdoor flush?

CO was the one that capped it, and he was the last raiser preflop. After OP just called the preflop 3-bet I'd put them on AK or an underpair to the K on the board so after OP raised the button 3-bet calling shows some weakness while capping it while it's cheap continues to show aggression and put off the vibe that they are uber-strong in this hand.

Given that the A could be a clean out, you have the backdoor nfd + control of the pot I don't mind the play IF they were willing to get away from it if the flush draw didn't hit on the turn or an A hit and they faced mega-aggression from OP.

What I don't like about the hand is OP's river play. After the aggression on the flop and then the total lack of it on the turn when the 2nd club hit I'm just checking the 3rd club on the river and watching what happens. OP could have saved themselves a BB on the river there when the turn gave up that both opponents were on the draw.

Look again. It was 3bet on the flop and CO called two more cold.

He's got some dirty Ace outs and a bdnfd - probably about 3-4 outs total which he called to chase getting 8:1 with the chance that Hero would cap and he'd have to put in even more. He's unlikely to get a free card on the turn meaning he'll have to pay at least one more BB for his bd draw IF a club comes on the turn.

Btn's play leaves a lot to be desired as well. He 3bet the flop with BPNK and ended up putting in 4 bets on the flop essentially drawing dead.

look at the stats:

CO 32/23/2.8 (390 hands)
Btn 56/ 0/1.3 ( 18 hands)

Button is a stupid donkey.....
Now, lets take a look at the CO....3bet preflop is standard for his range. But wtf he is trying on the flop by pushing and calling 2 more bets after capping.
He has absolutelly nothing except bdnfd and bdsd (?!) and playing like a maniac. On the turn he has a real nut FD and playing passively.

There's just one reason: yes, he was SOOOTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!
