Same guy folds on the river in these 2 huge pots. Where do these guys come from?? I don't mind though, anytime you get stuff like this within a space of about 4 hands, it's nice

It seems like I've noticed people saving that one extra bet by folding on the river in big pots lately as well. Winning big pots in limit without having to showdown has been happening to me a lot more frequently lately than it ever has before. Is paying attention to table image becoming a trend among the masses of online players? God I hope not.

More likely it's some semi-thinking LAgg who realizes he has no hope of winning showdown. I've seen some Manaics 3-bet the river then fold to a cap. Although the last couple maniacs I ran into called the cap with unimproved hole cards

when i first started playing holdem online, i was balls to the wall, capping with 2 pair or better, never let off the gas pedal .. worked really well on the .5/1 tables until i moved up to 1/2 and lost my entire roll in a week.
sounds like people are watching WPT and applying what they see to limit holdem.
