Well gabe, I was getting pot odds to call.

I had 5 outs to a probable victory - Two 3s and Three 9s as well as the backdoor flush. Thats 6.5 outs. I was getting 13-1 to call, which was more than enough pot odds in doing so. I'm folding on the turn if no 3,9, or diamond came up.

It's not. You could fold pre-flop, but whatever. Every post-flop play was perfect.

I don't understand why you called a preflop raise with 93suited, and why you called the bet on the flop. The raise on the turn was good I thought though.

Discounted call in the big blind. It was real thin if not just plain bad. Pot odds to call the flop.

also, there were already 4 people that called the pre flop raise, which makes it a little easier to call it

Ah, Okay, I just had no idea what you were trying to say there.

I do get to see the cards for cheap, and with the extra raise and all the cold calls you have to be looking at high cards. When I saw my hand, I saw huge implied odds if it DID hit. I'll be the first one to tell you not to play this junk.

Yup, I don't know if I would play this everytime, but i did have a feeling of some kind. I really have no defense for a call like this, and I also lost some doing it. However, it was a lot of fun calling with junk and letting it fly.

When fnord and I played yesterday he raised when I was in the Big Blind and I called with complete trash just to spite him, hoping to spike something. Poker is a game of fun too guys.

That still doesn't give me great odds in doing so, I did it just to see if I could piss off UTG. Its also a good way to get some good conversation at the table

I don't feel good that I called this hand, especially after getting pwned. I ALMOST got away with the hand, yet the best hand still held up like it should. Don't be afraid to take chances, I was having a good day at the time and sometimes the reward outweighed the risk.
