i happen to think this was a great lay down, but wonder if it was as good as i think...

Turn: (10.75 BB) T (3 players)

good fold or obvious lay down? and why?

Actually, it is a horrible fold. You are getting almost 16:1 on a call, and you have 4 outs to top straight, 2 of which are the nuts, and 8 outs to beat 2pair. Only if you knew someone had exactly AJ here would you be correct to fold. And you can't know that unless you have a rock solid read that UTG wouldn't raise the turn without the nuts. And that big of a nit typically wouldn't raise preflop UTG with AJ.
