say you get AA/KK in small or big blind, and the entire (6max) table limps.

Raising seems to work against you here, because against 5 random hands, AA is only 30% or so to win, and pot odds double for everyone in the hand.

I recently started playing more passive in my blinds, in this situation, and noticed I haven't been spewing as many chips...

This might be common sense to some, but it seems like a money saving play.

Easy raise, because you're getting too much pre-flop value.

Also, with AA/KK/QQ I *want* to a build a big pot pre-flop so I can take my hand to showdown unless it's drop dead obvious I'm beat.

Raise. You're giving up way too much value by not raising. If all 5 players limp, you're missing out on 2.5BB's by not raising. You have the best hand, get your chips in the middle.

It also just doesnt work for 6 max, but also for full ring. Always raise your aces and kings and queens(few exceptions) preflop unless you are trying to desguise your hand against a tricky opponent.

you guys are right. I was just picking myself up after a very large SNG losing streak, and lost a chunk of my roll (and confidence) with it. I'll stick to driving my big pairs to the river again.

you don't have to be stupid about it. preflop limit you should cap with these hands, and then re-evaluate them on the flop/turn/river.

be very weary of 8-9-10.. 10-j-q.. and suited boards, take them slow.
also if someone raises you on the turn(set or 2 pair) just call it down unless it's multi way and then consider folding.
