I've been working on protecting my hand, and was hoping for some advice on how I'm doing. Basically, I've been raising to knock out overcard type hands that might put the beat on me. Here are some examples, and I'd like to hear what people think:

Hand 1:

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Silverfist is BB with A, K.
6 folds, SB completes, Silverfist raises, SB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 9, 6, 6 (2 players)
SB bets, Silverfist raises

Hand 2:

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Silverfist is UTG with Q, A.
Silverfist raises, 6 folds, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) 8, 7, J (2 players)
SB bets, Silverfist raises

Hand 3:

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Silverfist is CO with A, Q.
