Bet the turn you sissy.

You have the nut nothing hand, I think you win this sometimes by checking behind, so I'm less inclined to bluff.

I agree, betting the turn will make checking the river easier.

A lot of hands will check/fold that turn and check/call or check/raise that river.

since i checked the turn, most players would not attempt a check raise on the river because i would check behind too often.

i didn't bet the turn because generally i want ace high to show down when i check behind the river.

Because both players fold often enough to make this semi-bluff very profitable and he has an easy fold to a check/raise.

I would check behind if the pot was 4+ way and/or he had enough equity where he would both hate to fold or call a turn check/raise.

River: (5.16 BB) A (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds

i put them both on a small pair, or they paired the board. since the ace fell, my hand played exactly the same as all strong aces, and i felt it was a good bluffing opportunity.

Bet the turn. Given that you didn't I wouldn't bet the river, they aren't going to fold many worse hands they called the flop with. Also the turn check cripples your folding equity.
