Howd I play it? Can I call the river 3bet?

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, J.
2 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 4, 9, T (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 5 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (6.25 BB) 9 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB

I think you played it fine. If he hit trip nines that blows but you make more money there than normal.
