Preflop: Hero is SB with 10, Q
UTG calls, 4 folds, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks

Flop: (4 SB) J, K, A (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Button checks

Turn: (2 BB) 6 (4 players)
Hero bets, 3 folds

Total pot: $1 (2 BB) | Rake: $0.05

Results below:
Hero had 10, Q (royal flush).
Outcome: Hero won $0.95

you should not be so aggressive; you WAY overplayed this one.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

It's just the luck of the draw, and the fishies, to get paid on those biggies, so... keep up the good solid poker, let this one go, and hope to get more royals!

btw, i would bet flop. As played, check turn.

I bounce back and forth as to how to play this sort of thing, but what I tell myself (which may not be true) is that sometimes when the board is this wet nobody's going to be calling unless they have a pretty strong hand. And if that's true, there isn't really a correct strategy here other than taking a guess as to when the fish will bite.

Somewhat true, but bets are smaller on the flop, and someone may call with a gutshot or whatever. The turn card can kill the little action you may have (4th diamond, board pairing) and even with a blank, with the bigger bet, worse odds...
