UTG is 26/0/1.11 (passive post-flop)
MP2 is 68/13/0.79 (passive post-flop)
MP3 is 50/0/0.50 (passive post-flop)

Will this line lose money in the longrun for 29s in the BB? Or, was the aggression worth it?

PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2, 9.

You really should just bet/3bet your hand here over checkraise. Since no one showed any aggression preflop you really dont want your draw to get checked behind. Checkraising will reduce the field where you really want as many callers as possible at this level.

Pump those draws!

Interestingly enough, Mike Caro has a different take on the Subj.

If you have a good read on your opponent down stream (first player to act on your left), check to see whether or not he looks like he wants to bet. If you're relatively certain he'll bring it in, then you should check raise. because odds are more people will come for one bet, and be stuck for the 2nd.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

Thats great for knocking out players to increase the chance of your hand winning, but a bet, a few calls, then the other player re-raising would bring more bets into the flop. Your play isolates the field making them call 2 cold. Something you generally dont want to do with a draw. Mike Caro is good, but only if you apply his knowledge in the correct places.

Depends on who's going to bet
If it's the guy RIGHT NEXT TO YOU and everyone will call HIS bet, THEN you can check-raise
