Is there one? Like Hypermagachi's limit guide, or Sauce123's 6-max guide? I'm guessing it's going to say "Play tight-agressive, and use position", but I'm looking for something slightly more specific. I built my Holdem game off of such a guide, and then latter was able to add stuff to it, once I had enough of a game to at least not loose money.
I've read the digest, and that's cool, but I'm also looking for something like Sauce's but for PLO.

I suck balls at PLO ($500 looser lifetime ), but I think that "Understanding Winning Play" has cleaned up my thought process quite a bit. I haven't read it through though. I reserve that for when my amazing holdem heater comes to a halt.
I don't think that you can make an easier hand selection chart just because hand structures are so complex compared to holdem. Also going through hand histories in the Omaha Manager replayer has made me realize that what I thought were coinflips were actually 80/20 one way or the other. :O
The Proper PLO series on Deuces cracked was also pretty helpful to me.
But no, I don't think there's a short guide. I'm not a huge fan of ABC theorem type stuff anyway. Yes, they can improve your winrate if you just follow them, but you won't necessarily understand what you're doing, and breaking out of preconceived notions of what a "standard" play is may become quite difficult.

my quick guide:
Play full ring
Never 3 bet pre and if you are in doubt about raising, limp
Play hands that can make the nuts
If you make the nuts, bet or raise
If you are drawing (9+ nut outs, or 7+ with more maybe outs) to the nuts, bet or raise
If not, check and fold
In lower limit games I think that will be pretty close to optimal anyway.
If you find some basic questions you wish we had answered, post them here, maybe we'll end up sticky-ing this post and you can be famous!

do you mean "pot limit omaha poker, the big play strategy" swiggidy? if so i'm reading it at the moment and it provides what i feel is a pretty good guide to playing tight and aggressive that will keep one out of trouble, and familiarise them with omaha. doesn't really go into concepts as such ie equity, pot odds, reverse equity, fold equity etc but instead breaks down preflop hand structures into premium, magnum, speculative and trash and tells you how to play each with a heap of example scenarios.

There are a number of video series out that provide a decent general level of how to play. The best I've seen so far is at DeucesCracked.
Also, it may be a few months, but between myself and MrPadawan, GS is looking to eventually have something directed at small and micro stakes.

Read about it a lot, post questions. Analyze where your leaks are on an ongoing basis. Can look for coaches in coaching thread on other forums.

avoid lower pairs, suited aces are good, play extremely tight IP, don't bluff (cbet, etc ) much multiway, most importantly play a lot. CR has great vids, too.
