Fun table.
UTG is a horrible player and will fold when he misses
UTG+1 is playing 75% of his hand and loves to donk bet. Has been lucking into bluff spots and cards. I was a little steamed when he rivered his pair when I had him caught with AJ unimproved in a prior hand.
I've been pushing hands. Was on a $150 rush, but I've probably dropped the last 6 pots I've been in and played a couple of them fast.
MP2 (HJ) is by far the best 2/4 sLAgg I've ever seen. He's playing a good but loose mix of hands, raising a fair share up and picking good spots to get aggro. Not letting me run over the table. Granted, I haven't played with him before and this could be a sample size issue...
CO&BN are both too tight
SB is kinda boring player with leaks, little loose/passive
Same impression of the BB

Looks about standard for a thinking player. Marginal hand, but thats what you want -- marginal stuff that pays off big when you hit and loses next to nothing when you miss.
You said table selection was the most overlooked aspect of the game -- this is precisely why. Youve got a loose table where you can limp suited one gappers in a position you generally couldnt (mp1) because you know mp2 and onward are coming for the ride, giving you great implied odds. Now you're in a spot to win big when you hit and lose next to nothing when you dont.
Interested to see what the river card is. Someone could be drawing to the split here, and thats disappointing.

I play pf and flop the same. You can be pretty sure with this group you'll get enough callers that the flop bet is for value.
Maybe I'm too obsessed with protecting my hand, but the Ed Miller in me really wants to raise the turn donkbet.

You can't protect this hand. You don't WANT to protect this hand.

Well I don't want to get into an argument over this because I think you're mostly right, but if he calls he's offering anyone with a 7 at least 8:1, which he can cut to 4.5:1 if he raises.

Most hands are drawing dead to me. A few have 4-10 outs. A few are splitting. I lose to exactly 67. Those hands that are drawing live won't fold here. So I may as well induce the guys drawing dead to keep putting in bets. There is a very strong chance of a turn check/raise given the board.

You're right. By 'protecting my hand' I don't necessarily mean getting folds. I'm just as happy if I turn a correct call into a marginal one, or a marginal call into an incorrect one. Or even a correct call into a less correct one. It's also possible that overcards or an overpair will still call.
Nice river. :P

Nice. was your raise on the flop to try and buy the button? I was surprised no one was jamming the pot with an Ace thinking "I'm going to show these guys"...
