So we haven’t done one of these in a long ass time... I was thinking of doing a private table tonight or tomorrow for FTR Limit player only on Party poker at 0.5/1 (just so more people can come play with us)...

So i figure that we could fire one up as soon as we got like 4-6 players willing... which means anytime from now though the night...

umm well depends on what everyone wants to do but i figured i'd make it low as possible so that most posible people could play it... now if we onyl end up with players that can afford higher then we'll bump it up...

umm the rake changes at 2/4...

the rake caps at $1 at < 2/4...

and caps at $3 from 2/4 to 30/60

so yes

Anyways... I’ll just make the table whenever everyone is ready to play if the need comes up before 5pm EST...

but other then that i'll create it at 5pm EST and go from there...

I missed it too, but that's because I had other plans, not because of the short notice (though with more notice I might have made different plans...). Count me in next time though.

Although I can certainly afford 3/6, I think for an FTR game at .5/1 would make much more sense.

3/6 is one of the stakes I'm playing at regularly, so at 3/6 I'm playing to win, which isn't going to be easy against FTR'ers (without a lot of luck). If I play .5/1, I'm playing to see how lucky I can get after 3-betting with 67, which sounds much better for a fun game.

FTR games end up being huge bluff fests.

Some of us can withstand that heat at 3/6 but many cannot.

So it really comes down to whether or not you want to make this game for fun (.5/1) or to test your skills against sharks (where a higher limit might employ better play).

both could be intreasting experances... my thought was that some of the lower players that play FR a lot would show up and get some pointers but that didn't seem to happen maybe it was because most the player that showed up play a ton of poker at higher levels and wanted to screw around before they started playing for real...

I think maybe that if we set it up for like a spacfic date with at least 1 week notice it might work out bettor...

or we can just play the 3/6 game doesn't bother me either way really...

I'll just go ahead and start a new topic with a stake poll and a roll call with a date for next time which i'm thinking is going to be June 1...
