I've recently discovered a very easy way to get decent MTT experience for all us limit players- if you want it.
Pokerroom runs two freerolls a week for those who clear a small amount of player points for anyone who plays a solid amount of low limit.
One 3k Turbo MTT every Wednesday and one 6k qualifier every Saturday (1 in 5 qualifies to go to the 6k).
They also run a level 1 step into the grand tourney every day.
(75 player points in 24 hours, 300-400 people, top 20 go to another qualifier to get into their 1k buy- in Grand Tourney in December).
It's not much, and your chance of actually winning money is slim, but 1 solid day of play at just the .5-1 level easily qualifies you for any of these. I can't see you upper limit guys getting excited about this, but I've been enjoying the free experience and maybe someone else will as well.

I love those pokerroom restricted freerolls. $6k prize pool in the saturday NL one, usually only about 800 runners. Flat prize distribution pays top 120 places. I think first is $1200 or so. I've played about 5 of them, made one final table (after 4 hours I finished 6th, good for $150).
Early on the play is just donktastic.. I'll reraise most people all in with QQ+ or AKo and they will often call with as little as AT, KQ, 99. Once you cut through those players the play is actually pretty good.
It also has long 12 minute levels making it less of a gong show and a little more skillful.
