Scenario: play money 30/60 FLHE *Please dont question my motives for asking this question *

Table play: very very loose aggressive, plys/flop is 90%-100%

Question: Is it better to accept the extreme Laggy play, and adopt it as your own, or play the other end of the spectrum, and play only group 1,2 maybe 3 starters.

My experience so far:

Taggy: with a rediculous plys/flop average your best starters are getting sucked out by rags 3/4 of the time, and losing about 3/4 of the hands you play, your looking at losses.

VVLaggy: seeing the flop 90-100% and trying to use Hold'em knowledge to give me an edge, gives me huge variance. ie 10k swings

Ratholing: this seems to be very effective at times, but i believe in the long run its just the same as one of the aforementioned styles, just skipping around on different tables when a decent profit is hit.

Goal: to find the most profitable method of playing.

Im sure everyone has at some time in their life played at a free money FLHE game, there must be some way to consistently win over time. Your opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Edit: 8 person tables; when ratholing, shorthanded tables are the most desirable for me for quick gains/avg win%

that's the way. you want to be just a bit tighter than the rest of the table
i'd say anything suited, any ace, possibly anything connected. 40% or more of all hands. go look at a heads up reccomendation.

the swings will be monstrous. but that's how you maximize win rate.

i can't think of any case you wouldn't want to cap pre flop. if you catch any part of the flop, ram and jam that sucker. your only advantage is you can fold when you're beat. if you do it long enough you'll see some betting patterns. folks who are trying hard to play right, folks who are just jamming anything.

people say "when the table is loose, tighten up, when it's tight, loosen up" they don't mean "a lot" just a bit. just enough that no one will notice. a wee bit tighter. like, don't play aj until middle position, not fold everything but AA.

i think your win rate ought to be big big big. but, as with all hands, it'll take 50,000 hands to know if you're winning for real, because the variance will be out of control.
