ANTES/BLINDS
xRespekx posts blind ($1), TazDevil2 posts blind ($2).

PRE-FLOP
Polot1 folds, mace_cash folds, Hero calls $2, budslady folds, mmartori folds, jCat88 folds, xRespekx folds, TazDevil2 checks. Taz seemed tight-passive.

FLOP [board cards 6C,6S,QH ] 2.5SB
TazDevil2 checks, Hero bets $2, TazDevil2 calls $2.

TURN [board cards 6C,6S,QH,QS ] 2.25 BB
TazDevil2 checks, Hero checks.

RIVER [board cards 6C,6S,QH,QS,7S ] 3.25 BB
TazDevil2 bets $4, Hero?

First off, thanks again for the help on the previous posts. As for this hand, I figured he was holding a fullboat, and pot small. Would this have been an EV call? Also, how was the flop play?

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm not folding, but i'm not raiser neither. Flat call is the obv line here as villain may bet with a middle pocket pair or an ace, and not just the boat.

Given that we checked the turn, villain may also be stone bluffing. It`s further possible he made a loose flop call with something like A7h and is convinced he just rivered the best hand--it's not credible that he'd put us on a flush. At least call here--folding would be madness.

I would rather b/f the turn and check behind on the river.

If you are going to posture at the pot on the flop after your oppponent checks, I doubth the Queen on the river isn't going to change anyones hand that much (probably would have bet the queen if he hand it on the flop, and probably is going to c/r the turn with a 6 regardless).

If he's got a hand, he is probably going to check raise you on the turn, you can fold. If he doesn't, he may fold to your bet.

But now you don't have to be worried about being bluffed on the river. If he checks to you, you can check behind UI. If he bets out on the river, you know you are most likely beat and can fold.

Same price, more chances to win and avoid being bluffed yourself.

Thoughts?
